In the UK it is a legal requirement for an employer to protect their employees from dust, fumes, biological organisms and other airborne contaminates & to provide a safe working environment (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974). If this protection uses an LEV system then it is a legal requirement to ensure and prove the systems protection performance. This Examination & Testing must be done as a minimum every 14 months and by a skilled professional.
Our Examination & Testing are performed in accordance with current Health and Safety guidelines for the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
We have engineers who are trained and qualified to the BOHS P601 ‘Commissioning and Thorough Examination and Testing of Local Exhaust Ventilation Systems’, which the HSE guidance HSG258 refers to as a measure of competency.
We are specialists in performing Local Exhaust & Ventilation Examination & Testing in the UK and in addition our trained engineers can also repair, replace filters and offer advice to get your LEV system performance ‘protecting your employees’ and compliant within the HSE guidelines.
We have trained professionals deployed full time on one of our clients sites performing Examination & Testing and Maintenance on over three thousand LEV systems and have experience of a wide range of different makes models and types.
We can also cater for smaller companies who may only have one or two LEV systems.
