To carry out day to day technical activities covering various Laboratory applications
as directed by the Site Manager. To control small projects, manage jobs and provide
supervisory expertise on site as required.
i. Minimum HNC or equivalent. (or proven time served experience).
ii. 5 years experience of LEV maintenance.
iii. Good understanding of current British Standards regarding LEV.
iv. Previous experience and training of Hydrogen Peroxide decontamination (using either Claris or Steris type equipment)
v. Trained and able to perform KI testing.
vi. Some previous experience of Laboratory equipment maintenance.
vii. Electrically competent. (240Vac)
viii. Hold a current clean driving license.
ix. Have demonstrable supervisory skills.
x. Hold a current, valid Safety Passport
xi. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
xii. PC literate on Microsoft Office applications.
xiii. Ability to work unsupervised as well as within a team.
xiv. An open-minded approach to new initiatives.
xv. Ability to manage and plan own workload.
xvi. Complete all paperwork accurately

You will be permanently based at one of our clients sites to perform your day to day activities, but you will occasionally be expected to visit other client sites at various locations throughout the UK, it also may involve travel overseas.
Some areas of work may be compliant or hazardous and all precautions and rules regarding working in these areas should be observed.
This position reports directly to the Site Manager.
