In the early days, Arena Instrumentation only provided this service to their clients’ research and development site in Leicestershire.
However, in 2003, Arena Instrumentation was awarded the contract for providing the same service at their research and development facility in Cheshire.
Currently, we have a team of 15 engineers based at the Leicestershire site and an additional 6 engineers based at the Cheshire facility. We also provide 4 administration resources across both sites.
On-Site residential support means our overheads are low, therefore we can pass high cost savings directly on to our client.
With our experience and expertise we can assess and provide valuable information on various makes / models of equipment. As we are not linked to any manufacturers, we can offer a truly genuine neutral service.
The level of service has steadily grown over the years and recently we were awarded a 5 year contract for the service and calibration of all pipettes used at their Leicestershire and Cheshire locations.
In the 10 years that we have been working with AstraZeneca, we have saved the company approx. £18 million in laboratory equipment service and maintenance costs, when compared to their previous expenditure with original equipment manufacturers.
